30 Days of Thankful: Day 23

I am thankful for time with my husband. For 4 years he was confined to his job, which meant the only family day we had together was Sunday. For the first time in 4 years our family had a full weekend of family time. Arlo and Chris went to a play at MSUM. This was not even an option two weeks ago. They went and had a great time. I am thankful for the time we get to spend together as a family.

Thankful for the beautiful sun rise on the way to work in the morning. I love nature and enjoy every morning I get to see the sun!

I love having a boy and a girl. They crack me up! Here is a sampling from our morning. They are going on a diaper ride.

I am thankful for my health and my children's health. Arlo ran into a little girl at school and he came home with a huge black eye. I was reminded that our health is so important and I am thankful that I do not have to worry about it very often.

I am thankful for the lovely life I have been so fortunate to live thus far. Feeling thankful for my freedom, education, and all the luxuries I have in life. I take for granted far too many things. Today I am thankful for it all.

I am thankful for the nice people that I work with. All day I had nice comments about my kids work in the hallway. It made me feel good!

Today I am tired. So, I am thankful for the nice warm house that I get to come home to everyday. 1411 has been good to us!

I am thankful for my job. I get to make art with kids everyday. I love seeing what they can do!

Today I am thankful for kids playing. Arlo spent most of the day playing with play doh and building with blocks. Too often we try to keep him busy by watching a show. Today I was thankful we dug out toys and just played. Soley was busy playing too. Her favorite toy today was her purse!

I just spent part of the week and weekend with my mom and dad. I had many things to do, but I made myself stop and just spend time with them. I am thankful for my happy and loving family . I am thankful for every day I get to spend with them!

Today I am thankful for coffee. I try not to drink too much caffeine, but nothing beats a cup of coffee in the morning. Icelanders like their coffee black and strong.

30 Days of Thankful : Day 1

I am thankful for my family. I have two small children. Arlo is 4 and Soley is 1. I am thankful everyday for a family that is happy and healthy! I will make it my goal to remind myself of this everyday this month and take those extra moments to spend with my children reading, playing and enjoying each others company.
